Lucy - the Ant Ballerina is a children's story. Written by John Dovey and illustrated by Shirene Dovey. In this story, we discover that it is OK to be different from others. Lucy is different from the other ants because she dares to dream. She learns to dance Ballet from watching a young girl and ends up teaching the other ants.
Daniel, a Jewish boy is lost and alone in the ruins of Berlin in the final days of the Second World War. He finds an old exercise book and pencil, and along with a small collection of family photographs he records the memories of his life; its joys, sorrows and pain. This is not only a story of sadness, however, but also one of hope.
