AMENDMENT OF THE OFFICIAL TABLE OF PRECEDENCE
It is hereby notified that the State President has approved that the
Official Table of Precedence whereby South African orders, decorations and
medals should be worn as per accompanying Schedule be amended with effect
from 1 September 1993.

recognised Orders of Chivalry as contained in the Register of Orders of
Chivalry (including honours of South West Africa and the National States), in
order of presentation in the various categories; on condition that such
honours may not be worn without the approval of the State President.)
- H. Decorations and Medals for Life-saving, official Fire Brigade awards,
awards from Local Authorities and awards of statutory bodies:
- On condition that these honours are not worn with official awards
without the approval of the State President.
- I. Awards from recognised Private Institutions e.g. the Noodhulpliga, Red
Cross, Voortrekkers, Boy Scouts:
- On condition that these honours are not worn with official awards
without the approval of the State President.
