Story

Known to his family as "Bokkie" and "Macie" to his wife and children, Andrew was in the army and transferring ammunition and vehicles from Voortrekker Hoogte to Namibia when he had a heart-attack while staying over in a hotel in De Aar en route. He had already done a stint in Namibia on the border.

I have attached a photo of his gravestone in Voortrekker Hoogte where he had a military funeral as well as his Funeral Letter. Andrew was a very special and much loved person and left his wife and 6 children behind. He will always be remembered with much love.
